Nintendo has given a closer look at the remake of “The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time” for Switch 2. The big addition in the new trailer is the Hall of Fallen Enemies, a room filled with statues of defeated rivals where players can fight the bosses again.

The game modernizes the controls with a traditional camera, a dedicated jump button, a dodge roll and motion controls. It also adds a menu that recaps the story and reminds you of your next objective, and it lets you hum into the console's microphone to play melodies in the game.

The release is scheduled for November 5. Before that, on October 29, a special Switch 2 edition celebrating the series' 40th anniversary will launch, together with a matching Pro Controller and case.

The original “Ocarina of Time” came out in 1998 for the Nintendo 64 and was the first 3D “Zelda.” It has been re-released several times since, including the 2011 version for Nintendo 3DS.
