Studio Ufotable has brought the final arc of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba,” Koyoharu Gotouge's manga, to the big screen. Instead of a new TV season, the adaptation of the Infinity Castle arc has been split into a trilogy of films, and the first one hit Japanese theaters on July 18, 2025.

The release broke box office records in its opening weekend in Japan and kept drawing audiences for weeks, following in the footsteps of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train” in 2020.

The film picks up right after the Hashira Training season: the Demon Slayers are pulled into Muzan Kibutsuji's fortress, where the final showdown with the Upper Ranks begins.

After its run in Japan, the film began its international rollout, including in Spain.
